THE STORY BEHIND QUEEN LUCILLA: Queen Lucilla was named in honor of HoneyBee Cigars owner Bri Chiuchiolo’s beloved grandmother, Lucille — affectionately known as “BMA.” A true queen in every sense of the word. Her hugs carried a warmth like no other. Her fire? Unmatched. Her presence? Unforgettable.

Lucille was a liquor store owner, a Scrabble champ, an Elvis fanatic and the undisputed queen of Italian struffoli and cheesecake. She had sass, strength and the kind of personality that could light up an entire room. Her soul danced to oldies, she adored her animals, and when it came to wine — white Zinfandel only, please. 🍷

But above everything else was the bond she shared with her granddaughter, Bri. A bond that neither time nor death could break. Her strength, warmth and larger-than-life spirit became part of the foundation behind HoneyBee itself.

Even Dion DiMucci once told Lucille she was the sweetest woman, with a charm that lit up the room.
