Tampa has always had tobacco in its bones.
A city shaped by cigar makers, factory floors, and generations who understood that a good smoke could carry a name far beyond where it was rolled.
Tampa Gold pays respect to that history — without trying to recreate it. While much of the HoneyBee portfolio has been rooted in Nicaraguan tobacco, Tampa Gold takes the HIVE somewhere different: a Dominican blend finished in a Cameroon wrapper, selected because it brought something distinctly different to the table.
Boldly banded in black and gold and built in a strong and sturdy 5 × 52, this Project Smoke represents another side of what HoneyBee is becoming — a house willing to reach beyond familiar soil when the tobacco is worth bringing home.
